Surah al-Mulk is a 30-verse Meccan surah that the Prophet ﷺ recited every night before sleeping (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2892). It speaks of Allah's absolute sovereignty over creation, the perfection of His design and a vivid warning about the Hereafter — and is famously the surah that intercedes for its companion in the grave.
